Petroleum (Safety Measures) Act 1984 s 44

s 44 Power of Minister to exempt

(1) The Minister may, by order, either conditionally, or absolutely exempt any person, vehicle, vessel or place from all or any provisions of this Act or regulations made thereunder. (2) Without prejudice to the provisions of subsection (1), the Minister may by order exempt from all or any provision of this Act or regulations made thereunder any petroleum under the control of— (a) the Armed Forces of Malaysia and the Royal Malaysian Police, and any other forces lawfully present in Malaysia; and (b) the Government of the Federation and any Government of any State.

Kuasa Menteri memberi pengecualian

(1) Menteri boleh, melalui perintah, sama ada dengan bersyarat atau secara mutlak, mengecualikan mana-mana orang, kenderaan, vesel atau tempat daripada kesemua atau mana-mana peruntukan Akta ini atau peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat di bawahnya. (2) Tanpa menyentuh peruntukan subseksyen (1), Menteri boleh melalui perintah mengecualikan daripada kesemua atau mana-mana peruntukan Akta ini atau peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat di bawahnya apa-apa petroleum di bawah kawalan— (a) Angkatan Tentera Malaysia dan Polis Di Raja Malaysia, dan mana-mana angkatan lain yang berada secara sah di sisi undang-undang di Malaysia; dan (b) Kerajaan Persekutuan dan mana-mana Kerajaan sesuatu Negeri.
