s 116 Acknowledgment by a woman in ‘iddah

Where the acknowledgor is a woman who is married or who is observing the ‘iddah, the paternity of the person acknowledged shall not be ascribed to her husband unless her acknowledgment is confirmed by him or by evidence.

Malay text (authoritative)

Jika orang yang membuat pengakuan itu adalah seorang perempuan yang berkahwın atau yang sedang dalam 'iddah, suami perempuan itu tidak boleh disifatkan sebagai bapa kepada orang yang diakui itu melainkan jika pengakuan perempuan itu disahkan oleh suaminya itu atau disahkan dengan keterangan.
