Any person who for the purpose of procuring any marriage under this Act intentionally makes any false declaration or statement commits an offence and shall be punished with a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit or with imprisonment not exceeding six months or both.
Jika seseorang, bagi maksud mendapatkan suațu Akuan atau z lqrar perkahwinan dilakukan di bawah Akta ini, sengaja pernyataan membuat sesuatu akuan atau pernyataan yang palsu, mendapatpalsu untu Sub- AA1261 maka orang itu adalah melakukan suatu kesalahan dan kan per- Liqrar hendaklah dihukum denda tidak melebihi satz ribu Kaho An12G1 ringgit atau penjara tidak melebihi enam bulan atau sud-AA1261 kedua-duanya denda dan penjara itu.
