s 46 Change of religion

(1) The renunciation of Islam by either party to a marriage or his or her conversion to a faith other than Islam shall not by itself operate to dissolve the marriage unless and until so confirmed by the Court. (2) The conversion to Islam by either party to a non-Muslim marriage shall not by itself operate to dissolve the marriage unless and until so confirmed by the Court.

Pertukaran agama. [Bah. V, S. 46-47]

(1) Jika salah satu pihak kepada sesuatu perkahwinan itu murtad atau memeluk sesuatu ke percayaan lain daripada Islam, maka perbuatan yang demikian tidak boleh dengan sendirinya berkuatkuasa membubarkan perkahwinan itu melainkan dan sehingga disahkan sedemikian oleh Mahkamah. (2) Jika salah satu pihak kepada sesuatu perkahwinan talaq atau ub.AA1?6(perintah. - larar 0/AA902 sehingga disahkan sedêmikian oleh Mahkamah.
