s 86 Penalty for counterfeiting or defacing, or possessing implements for counterfeiting, marks on trees and timber and altering boundary marks
Any person who—
(a) knowingly counterfeits upon any tree or timber, or has in his possession any implement for counterfeiting, any mark used by forest officers;
(b) unlawfully or fraudulently affixes to any tree or timber any mark used by forest officers or any property mark;
(c) alters, defaces or obliterates any mark placed on any tree or timber by or under the authority of a forest officer; or
(d) alters, removes, destroys or defaces, any boundary mark of a permanent reserved forest or of any land proposed to be included in a permanent reserved forest,
shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand ringgit and to imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than one year but shall not exceed twenty years.

Penalti kerana melancung, atau mencacat, atau memiliki alat bagi melancung, tanda pada pokok dan kayu dan mengubah tanda sempadan
Mana-mana orang yang—
(a) dengan disedarinya melancung pada mana-mana pokok atau kayu, atau ada dalam milikannya apa-apa alat bagi pelancungan, apa-apa tanda yang digunakan oleh pegawai hutan;
(b) secara menyalahi undang-undang atau secara fraud melekatkan pada mana-mana pokok atau kayu apa-apa tanda yang digunakan oleh pegawai hutan atau manamana tanda harta;
(c) mengubah, mencacat atau memadam mana-mana tanda yang diletakkan pada mana-mana pokok atau kayu oleh atau di bawah kuasa pegawai hutan; atau
(d) mengubah, mengalih, memusnah atau mencacat, apa-apa tanda sempadan hutan simpanan kekal atau mana-mana tanah yang dicadang untuk dimasukkan sebagai hutan simpanan kekal, melakukan suatu kesalahan dan apabila disabitkan boleh didenda tidak melebihi lima ratus ribu ringgit dan dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak kurang daripada satu tahun tetapi tidak melebihi dua puluh tahun.
