Fisheries Act 1985 s 48
(1) Any fish or other article of a perishable nature seized under this Act may, on the direction of the Director General, be sold and the proceeds of the sale shall be held and dealt with in accordance with the provisions of this Act. (2) The Government of Malaysia shall not be liable to any person for any deterioration, howsoever caused, in the quality of any fish or other article seized under this Act.
Jualan ikan atau benda lain dari jenis yang mudah rosak
(1) Mana-mana ikan atau benda lain dari jenis yang mudah rosak yang disita di bawah Akta ini boleh, atas arahan Ketua Pengarah, dijual dan hasil jualan itu hendaklah ditahan dan diuruskan mengikut peruntukan Akta ini. (2) Kerajaan Malaysia tidaklah bertanggungan kepada mana-mana orang atas apa-apa kemerosotan mutu mana-mana ikan atau benda lain yang disita di bawah Akta ini yang disebabkan dengan apa jua cara.
