Fisheries Act 1985 s 58
The Director General may, by order in writing, for the purpose of research or training or survey on economic feasibility of any fishing activity, or the proper conservation and management of fisheries, exempt, subject to such conditions as he may impose, any vessel or person from all or any of the provisions of this Act.
Pengecualian bagi maksud tertentu
Ketua Pengarah boleh, melalui perintah secara bertulis, bagi maksud penyelidikan atau latihan atau kaji selidik mengenai kebolehlaksanaan ekonomi apa-apa aktiviti penangkapan ikan, atau pemuliharaan atau pengurusan yang sempurna terhadap perikanan, tertakluk kepada apa-apa syarat yang dikenakannya, mengecualikan mana-mana vesel atau orang daripada kesemua atau mana-mana peruntukan Akta ini.
