Malaysian Forestry Research and Development Board Act 1985 s 17

The Board may, upon the approval of the Minister given with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, invest the Fund or any part thereof, not being immediately required for meeting its obligations or exercising its functions, in any investment or securities for the time being authorized for the investment of trust funds under any written law.
Kuasa untuk melabur
Lembaga boleh, apabila mendapat kelulusan Menteri yang diberi dengan persetujuan Menteri Kewangan, melaburkan Kumpulan Wang itu atau mana-mana bahagian daripadanya, yang bukan dikehendaki dengan segera bagi menyempurnakan obligasinya atau bagi menjalankan fungsinya, dalam mana-mana pelaburan atau sekuriti yang pada masa itu dibenarkan bagi pelaburan kumpulan wang amanah di bawah mana-mana undang-undang bertulis.
