s 10 Offence of failing to comply with fire-hazard abatement notice
Any person who fails to comply with any requirement of a fire-hazard abatement notice served on him pursuant to section 8 within the time specified in the notice, whether or not an order under section 13 has been made in respect of him, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both and shall also be liable to a further fine of one hundred ringgit for each day during which the offence is continued after the conviction.

Kesalahan tidak mematuhi notis menghapuskan bahaya kebakaran
Mana-mana orang yang tidak mematuhi apa-apa kehendak notis menghapuskan bahaya kebakaran yang disampaikan kepadanya menurut seksyen 8 dalam masa yang dinyatakan dalam notis itu, sama ada suatu perintah di bawah seksyen 13 telah dibuat berkenaan dengannya atau tidak, melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi lima ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi tiga tahun atau kedua-duanya dan boleh juga dikenakan denda tambahan sebanyak satu ratus ringgit bagi setiap hari yang kesalahan itu berterusan selepas sabitan.
