(1) Upon giving seven days’ notice in writing to the owner of any property situated in the vicinity of a fire hydrant, the Director General may cause a plate indicating the location of the fire hydrant to be fixed to such part of the property as, in the opinion of the Director General, is best suited to indicate such location.
(2) Any person who refuses to allow the fixing of any such plate as is referred to in subsection (1) or obstructs any person in the course of the fixing thereof or removes or defaces any such plate after it has been fixed shall be guilty of an offence.

Kuasa untuk memasang plat tempat pili bomba
(1) Setelah memberikan notis tujuh hari secara bertulis kepada pemunya mana-mana harta yang terletak berhampiran dengan pili bomba, Ketua Pengarah boleh menyebabkan suatu plat yang menunjukkan tempat pili bomba itu dipasangkan pada mana-mana bahagian harta itu yang, pada pendapat Ketua Pengarah, adalah paling sesuai untuk menunjukkan tempat itu.
(2) Mana-mana orang yang enggan membenarkan pemasangan apa-apa plat sedemikian sebagaimana yang disebut dalam subseksyen (1) atau menghalang mana-mana orang yang sedang memasangnya atau mengalih atau mencacatkan apa-apa plat sedemikian selepas ia dipasang melakukan suatu kesalahan.
