s 48 Declaration to be taken by auxiliary police officers
Every auxiliary police officer shall, before entering on the duties of his office, make before a senior police officer not below the rank of Assistant Superintendent the declaration set out in the Second Schedule in such manner as he may declare to be most binding on his conscience.

Akuan hendaklah dibuat oleh pegawai polis bantuan
Tiap-tiap pegawai polis bantuan hendaklah, sebelum mula menjalankan tugas jawatannya, membuat di hadapan seorang pegawai kanan polis berpangkat tidak rendah daripada Penolong
Penguasa akuan yang diperuntukkan dalam Jadual Kedua mengikut apa-apa cara yang diakuinya sebagai paling berkesan pada perasaan hatinya.
