The Prime Minister may from time to time make rules—
(a) for exempting any person or class of persons from the obligation to furnish information under this Act, either wholly or to such extent as may be prescribed and either unconditionally or subject to such conditions as may be prescribed; and
(b) for prescribing the fees which may be charged for communicating statistics collected by the Department or the interpretation by the Department of statistics so collected and the manner in which such fees may be collected and for exempting any person from the payment of such fees.

Kaedah-kaedah
Perdana Menteri boleh dari semasa ke semasa membuat kaedahkaedah—
Perangkaan
(a) bagi mengecualikan mana-mana orang atau golongan orang daripada obligasi untuk memberikan maklumat di bawah Akta ini, sama ada seluruhnya atau setakat mana yang boleh ditetapkan dan sama ada tidak bersyarat atau tertakluk kepada apa-apa syarat yang boleh ditetapkan; dan
(b) bagi menetapkan fi yang boleh dikenakan bagi menyampaikan perangkaan yang dikumpulkan oleh Jabatan atau tafsiran oleh Jabatan perangkaan yang dikumpulkan sedemikian dan cara bagaimana fi itu boleh dikutip dan bagi mengecualikan mana-mana orang daripada pembayaran fi itu.
