Lembaga Pembangunan Langkawi Act 1990 s 33
(1) This Act shall be in operation for a period of twenty years from the date of coming into force, but such period may be extended, by an order made by the Minister, to such further period or periods as may be determined by agreement between the Federal Government and the State Government. (2) Any order made under subsection (1) shall be published in the Gazette and be laid before both Houses of Parliament.
Tempoh kuat kuasa
(1) Akta ini hendaklah berkuat kuasa selama tempoh dua puluh tahun dari tarikh ia mula berkuat kuasa, tetapi tempoh itu boleh dilanjutkan, melalui perintah yang dibuat oleh Menteri, selama tempoh atau tempoh-tempoh yang lebih lanjut sebagaimana yang ditentukan melalui persetujuan di antara Kerajaan Persekutuan dengan Kerajaan Negeri. (2) Apa-apa perintah yang dibuat di bawah subseksyen (1) hendaklah disiarkan dalam Warta dan dibentangkan di hadapan kedua-dua Majlis Parlimen.
