s 8 Declaration of forfeitures
(1) Forfeitures of coin under this Act may be declared by a First Class Magistrate in all cases where a person is convicted of an offence against this Act in respect thereof, on the conviction of such person, or where no person is convicted, within three months of the seizure of such coin.
(2) An appeal to the High Court at the instance of any person interested shall lie from a declaration of forfeiture of coin. Notice of appeal shall be given within one month of the pronouncement of the declaration of forfeiture.

Pengisytiharan perampasan
(1) Perampasan syiling di bawah Akta ini boleh diisytiharkan oleh seorang Majistret Kelas Pertama dalam semua kes jika seseorang disabitkan dengan sesuatu kesalahan terhadap Akta ini berkenaan dengannya, apabila orang itu disabitkan, atau jika tiada seorang pun disabitkan, dalam masa tiga bulan daripada penyitaan syiling itu.
(2) Suatu rayuan kepada Mahkamah Tinggi atas kehendak mana-mana orang yang berkepentingan boleh dibuat daripada sesuatu pengisytiharan perampasan syiling. Notis rayuan hendaklah diberi dalam masa satu bulan daripada pengumuman pengisytiharan perampasan itu.
