Midwives Act 1966 s 19
(1) The Director General shall exercise general supervision over all midwives in accordance with the regulations made under this Act. (2) The Director General may in writing delegate his power under this section to any person or persons as he may deem fit. Midwives (3) The Director General may temporarily suspend any midwife from practising midwifery if he is of the opinion that such suspension is necessary to prevent the spread of infection.
Kuasa dan tugas Ketua Pengarah
(1) Ketua Pengarah hendaklah menjalankan pengawasan am ke atas semua bidan mengikut peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat di bawah Akta ini. (2) Ketua Pengarah boleh secara bertulis mewakilkan kuasanya di bawah seksyen ini kepada mana-mana orang yang difikirkannya patut. (3) Ketua Pengarah boleh menggantung sementara mana-mana bidan daripada menjalankan amalan perbidanan jika dia berpendapat bahawa penggantungan itu adalah perlu untuk mencegah penyebaran jangkitan.
