s 4D Temporary exercise of functions of Chairman
(1) Where the Chairman is for any reason unable to perform his functions or during any period of vacancy in the office of the Chairman, the Deputy Chairman shall perform the functions of the Chairman.

(2) Where both the Chairman and the Deputy Chairman are for any reason unable to perform the functions of the Chairman or during any period of vacancy in the offices of the Chairman and Deputy Chairman, the Minister may appoint any member of the Board to perform the functions of the Chairman.
(3) The Deputy Chairman or the member appointed under subsection (2), as the case may be, shall, during the period in which he is performing the functions of the Chairman under this section, be deemed to be the Chairman and shall have all the powers of the Chairman.

Penjalanan sementara fungsi Pengerusi
(1) Jika Pengerusi atas apa-apa sebab tidak berupaya untuk melaksanakan fungsinya atau semasa mana-mana tempoh kekosongan jawatan Pengerusi, Timbalan Pengerusi hendaklah melaksanakan fungsi Pengerusi.
(2) Jika kedua-dua Pengerusi dan Timbalan Pengerusi atas apa-apa sebab tidak berupaya untuk melaksanakan fungsi Pengerusi atau semasa apa-apa tempoh kekosongan jawatan Pengerusi dan Timbalan Pengerusi, Menteri boleh melantik mana-mana anggota Lembaga untuk melaksanakan fungsi Pengerusi.
(3) Timbalan Pengerusi atau anggota yang dilantik di bawah subseksyen (2), mengikut mana-mana yang berkenaan, hendaklah, semasa tempoh dia melaksanakan fungsi Pengerusi di bawah seksyen ini, disifatkan sebagai Pengerusi dan hendaklah mempunyai segala kuasa Pengerusi.
