(1) The Institute may appoint, on such terms and conditions of service as may be approved by the Board, such number of Deputy Director Generals, other officers and staff, as may be necessary for carrying out the purposes of the Institute. (2) The Deputy Director Generals shall be subject to the direction and control of the Director General and may perform all the duties of the Director General under this Act. Pelantikan pegawai dan kakitangan
(1) Institut boleh melantik, atas apa-apa terma dan syarat perkhidmatan sebagaimana yang diluluskan oleh Lembaga, apa-apa bilangan Timbalan Ketua Pengarah, pegawai dan kakitangan lain, sebagaimana yang perlu untuk menjalankan maksud Institut. (2) Timbalan Ketua Pengarah hendaklah tertakluk kepada arahan dan kawalan Ketua Pengarah dan boleh melaksanakan segala kewajipan Ketua Pengarah di bawah Akta ini.
