Married Women Act 1957 s 8

s 8 Gifts by husband to wife

Nothing in this Act shall give validity, as against creditors of the husband, to any gift by a husband to his wife of any property which, after such gift, continues to be in the order and disposition or reputed ownership of the husband, or to any deposit or other investment of moneys of the husband made by or in the name of his wife in fraud of his creditors; but any moneys so deposited or invested may be followed as if they belong to the husband.

Hadiah oleh suami kepada isteri

Tiada apa-apa jua dalam Akta ini boleh memberikan kesahan, berbanding dengan pemiutang suami, kepada apa-apa hadiah oleh seorang suami kepada isterinya apa-apa harta yang, selepas hadiah itu, terus kekal mengikut perintah dan pelupusan atau pemunyaan suami yang dikatakan, atau kepada apa-apa deposit atau pelaburan wang suami yang lain yang dibuat atau atas nama isterinya secara fraud terhadap pemiutangnya; tetapi apa-apa wang yang didepositkan atau dilaburkan sedemikian boleh dianggap seolah-olah wang itu kepunyaan suami itu.
