s 62 Powers of local authority

The State Authority may, from time to time, by notification published in the Gazette, declare that all or any of the powers conferred upon a local authority or the president or chairman thereof by any written law may be exercised within the area specified in such notification by the Authority or by any board or corporation or the Chairman thereof respectively: Provided that no such declaration shall be made in respect of any area in which a local authority is for the time being established.
