(1) There shall be a body to be known as the “Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan” to advise the Yang di-Pertuan Agong in matters relating to the religion of Islam. (2) Upon the coming into force of this section, the “Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan” existing by virtue of section 5 of the Enactment shall be deemed to be the Majlis referred to in subsection (1).
