s 40 Constitution of Syariah Courts

(1) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on the advice of the Minister, may by notification in the Gazette constitute Syariah Subordinate Courts for the Federal Territories at such places as he considers fit. (2) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on the advice of the Minister, may by notification in the Gazette, constitute a Syariah High Court for the Federal Territories. (3) The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on the advice of the Minister, may by notification in the Gazette constitute a Syariah Appeal Court for the Federal Territories.
