Merchant Shipping (Oil Pollution) Act 1994 s 16
(1) The Fund shall be recognized as a legal person capable of assuming rights and obligations and of being a party in legal proceedings before a Court in Malaysia. (2) Any proceedings by or against the Fund may either be instituted by or against the Fund in its own name or be instituted by or against the Director of the Fund as the Fund’s representative.
Keperibadian undang-undang Kumpulan Wang
(1) Kumpulan Wang hendaklah diiktiraf sebagai orang di sisi undang-undang yang boleh memikul hak dan obligasi dan boleh menjadi suatu pihak dalam prosiding undang-undang di hadapan Mahkamah di Malaysia. (2) Apa-apa prosiding oleh atau terhadap Kumpulan Wang boleh dimulakan sama ada oleh atau terhadap Kumpulan Wang atas namanya sendiri atau oleh atau terhadap Pengarah Kumpulan Wang sebagai wakil Kumpulan Wang.
