s 22 Subrogation and rights of recourse
(1) In respect of any sum paid under paragraph 19(1)(b) the Fund shall acquire by subrogation the rights of the recipient against the owner of a ship or his guarantor.
(2) (Deleted by Act A1248).
(3) In respect of any sum paid under paragraph 19(1)(a) or (c), the Fund shall acquire by subrogation any rights of recourse or subrogation which the owner of the ship or his guarantor or any other person has in respect of his liability for the damage in question.
(4) In respect of any sum paid by a public authority in Malaysia or other State as compensation for pollution damage, that public authority or State shall acquire by subrogation any rights which the recipient has against the Fund under this Part.

Subrogasi dan hak pertolongan
(1) Berkenaan dengan apa-apa jumlah wang yang dibayar di bawah perenggan 19(1)(b), Kumpulan Wang hendaklah memperoleh, secara subrogasi, hak penerima terhadap pemunya kapal atau penjaminnya.
(2) (Dipotong oleh Akta A1248).
(3) Berkenaan dengan apa-apa jumlah wang yang dibayar di bawah perenggan 19(1)(a) atau (c), Kumpulan Wang hendaklah memperoleh melalui subrogasi apa-apa hak pertolongan atau subrogasi yang ada pada pemunya kapal atau penjaminnya atau mana-mana orang lain berkenaan dengan liabilitinya bagi kerosakan yang berkenaan.
(4) Berkenaan dengan apa-apa jumlah wang yang dibayar oleh sesuatu pihak berkuasa awam di Malaysia atau Negara lain sebagai pampasan bagi kerosakan pencemaran, pihak berkuasa awam atau Negara itu hendaklah memperoleh, secara subrogasi apa-apa hak yang penerima ada terhadap Kumpulan Wang di bawah Bahagian ini.
