Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996 s 90
s 90 Protection against suit and legal proceedings
No action shall lie or prosecution shall be brought, instituted or maintained against the Government, Minister, Registrar General, Deputy Registrar General, Registrar, Deputy Registrar or Assistant Registrar or against any officer of the Government or any person acting under the direction of the Minister or the Registrar General, in any court for any thing done or omitted to be done under this Act—
(a) in good faith;
(b) in the reasonable belief that it was necessary for the purpose intended to be served thereby; or
(c) for carrying into effect the provisions of this Act.

Perlindungan daripada tindakan guaman dan prosiding undang- undang
Tiada tindakan boleh diambil atau pendakwaan boleh dibawa, dimulakan atau dibuat terhadap Kerajaan, Menteri, Ketua Pendaftar, Timbalan Ketua Pendaftar, Pendaftar, Timbalan Pendaftar atau Penolong Pendaftar atau terhadap mana-mana pegawai Kerajaan atau mana-mana orang yang bertindak di bawah arahan Menteri atau Ketua Pendaftar, di dalam mana-mana mahkamah bagi apa-apa perkara yang dilakukan atau ditinggalkan daripada dilakukan di bawah Akta ini—
(a) dengan suci hati;
(b) dengan semunasabahnya mempercayai bahawa perkara itu perlu bagi maksud yang diniatkan untuk dicapai melaluinya; atau
(c) bagi melaksanakan peruntukan Akta ini.
