Private Higher Educational Institutions Act 1996 s 98

s 98 Power of Minister to make additional transitional provisions

(1) The Minister may, by rules, make such provision as he considers necessary or expedient for the purpose of removing any difficulties occasioned by the application of this Act on private higher educational institutions— (a) established under the Essential (Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations 1969; (b) registered or deemed to have been registered under the Education Act 1996; and (c) to which provisional certificates of registration have been issued or are deemed to have been issued under the Education Act 1996. (2) The power of the Minister under subsection (1) shall include power to make such modifications so as to give effect to the provisions of this Act.

Kuasa Menteri untuk membuat peruntukan peralihan tambahan

(1) Menteri boleh, melalui kaedah-kaedah, membuat apa-apa peruntukan yang difikirkannya perlu atau suai manfaat bagi maksud menghapuskan apa-apa kesukaran yang ditimbulkan oleh pemakaian Akta ini bagi institusi pendidikan tinggi swasta— (a) yang ditubuhkan di bawah Peraturan-Peraturan Perlu (Yayasan Pengajian Tinggi) 1969; (b) yang didaftarkan atau disifatkan telah didaftarkan di bawah Akta Pendidikan 1996; dan (c) yang kepadanya perakuan pendaftaran sementara telah dikeluarkan atau disifatkan telah dikeluarkan di bawah Akta Pendidikan 1996. (2) Kuasa Menteri di bawah subseksyen (1) hendaklah termasuk kuasa untuk membuat apa-apa ubah suaian bagi melaksanakan peruntukan Akta ini.
