Evidence Act 1950 s 88

s 88 Presumption as to telegraphic messages

The court may presume that a message forwarded from a telegraph office to the person to whom it purports to be addressed corresponds with a message delivered for transmission at the office from which the message purports to be sent; but the court shall not make any presumption as to the person by whom the message was delivered for transmission.

Anggapan tentang perutusan telegraf

Mahkamah boleh menganggap bahawa suatu perutusan yang dihantar dari sesuatu pejabat telegraf kepada orang yang kepadanya perutusan itu berupa sebagai ditujukan adalah bersamaan dengan perutusan yang telah diserahkan untuk dihantar di pejabat yang darinya perutusan itu berupa sebagai telah dihantar; tetapi mahkamah tidak boleh membuat apa-apa anggapan tentang orang yang olehnya perutusan itu diserahkan untuk penghantaran.
