Syariah Court Evidence (Federal Territories) Act 1997 s 88

s 88 Evidence by a single witness and oath by plaintiff

Where in a civil suit, there is only one witness produced by the plaintiff, the evidence of such witness shall only be admissible if his evidence is given together with the oath of the plaintiff. ILLUSTRATION In a claim for the repayment of a debt by the plaintiff against the defendant, the evidence of a witness produced by the plaintiff given together with the oath of the plaintiff shall constitute sufficient proof of his claim.

Keterangan oleh saksi tunggal dan sumpah plaintif

Jika dalam kes mal, plaintif hanya mengemukakan seorang saksi, keterangan saksi itu hanya boleh diterima jika keterangannya diberikan berserta dengan sumpah plaintif itu. Dalam suatu tuntutan bagi pembayaran balik hutang oleh plaintif terhadap defendan, keterangan seorang saksi yang dikemukakan oleh plaintif yang diberikan berserta dengan sumpah plaintif hendaklah menjadi bukti yang cukup terhadap tuntutannya.
