(1) The Board shall appoint a Registrar of Counsellors who shall be under the general direction and supervision of the Board.
(2) The Registrar shall—
(a) sign all certificates of registration and certificates of temporary registration;
(b) record all entries required to be made in the Register;
(c) remove from the Register the names and other particulars of a registered counsellor whose name has been ordered by the Board or the Disciplinary Committee to be removed; and
(d) carry out any other duty required by this Act or regulations made under this Act to be carried out by him or as directed by the Board for the purposes of this Act.

Pelantikan dan kewajipan Pendaftar
(1) Lembaga hendaklah melantik seorang Pendaftar Kaunselor yang hendaklah di bawah arahan dan penyeliaan am Lembaga.
(2) Pendaftar hendaklah—
(a) menandatangani semua perakuan pendaftaran dan perakuan pendaftaran sementara;
(b) merekodkan semua catatan yang dikehendaki dibuat dalam Daftar;
(c) mengeluarkan dari Daftar nama dan butir-butir lain kaunselor berdaftar yang namanya telah diperintahkan oleh Lembaga atau Jawatankuasa Tatatertib supaya dikeluarkan; dan
(d) menjalankan apa-apa kewajipan lain yang dikehendaki oleh Akta ini atau peraturan-peraturan yang dibuat di bawah Akta ini supaya dijalankan olehnya atau sebagaimana yang diarahkan oleh Lembaga bagi maksud Akta ini.
