s 36 Investigation and Disciplinary Committees

(1) The Board shall have disciplinary authority over all registered counsellors and shall exercise disciplinary control in respect of all such counsellors in accordance with this Act. (2) For the purposes of this Part there shall be established— (a) an Investigation Committee comprising three members of the Board to investigate into a complaint made against a registered counsellor; and (b) a Disciplinary Committee comprising five members of the Board, not being members of the Investigation Committee, to inquire into a complaint referred to it by the Investigation Committee.

Jawatankuasa Penyiasatan dan Tatatertib

(1) Lembaga hendaklah mempunyai kuasa tatatertib ke atas semua kaunselor berdaftar dan hendaklah menjalankan kawalan tatatertib berkenaan dengan semua kaunselor itu mengikut Akta ini. (2) Bagi maksud Bahagian ini maka hendaklah ditubuhkan— (a) suatu Jawatankuasa Penyiasatan yang terdiri daripada tiga orang anggota Lembaga untuk menyiasat sesuatu aduan yang dibuat terhadap seseorang kaunselor berdaftar; dan (b) suatu Jawatankuasa Tatatertib yang terdiri daripada lima orang anggota Lembaga, yang bukan anggota Jawatankuasa Penyiasatan, untuk menjalankan siasatan mengenai sesuatu aduan yang dirujukkan kepadanya oleh Jawatankuasa Penyiasatan.
