s 37 Duty of Investigation Committee

(1) Every complaint against any registered counsellor shall be addressed to the Registrar who shall immediately refer such complaint to the Investigation Committee. (2) The Investigation Committee shall investigate every complaint and shall, as soon as practicable, submit its report on such complaint to the Disciplinary Committee. (3) Every report under subsection (2) shall— (a) state whether sufficient grounds exist for disciplinary proceedings to be taken against a registered counsellor; and (b) be accompanied by such evidence as the Investigation Committee may have obtained in support of such statement.

Kewajipan Jawatankuasa Penyiasatan

(1) Tiap-tiap aduan terhadap mana-mana kaunselor berdaftar hendaklah dialamatkan kepada Pendaftar yang hendaklah dengan serta-merta merujukkan aduan itu kepada Jawatankuasa Penyiasatan. (2) Jawatankuasa Penyiasatan hendaklah menyiasat tiap-tiap aduan dan hendaklah, dengan seberapa segera yang praktik, mengemukakan laporannya tentang aduan itu kepada Jawatankuasa Tatatertib. (3) Tiap-tiap laporan di bawah subseksyen (2) hendaklah— (a) menyatakan sama ada terdapat alasan yang mencukupi untuk mengambil prosiding tatatertib terhadap seseorang kaunselor berdaftar; dan (b) disertakan dengan apa-apa keterangan sebagaimana yang diperoleh oleh Jawatankuasa Penyiasatan bagi menyokong pernyataan itu.
