(1) Where the report submitted by the Investigation Committee states that sufficient grounds exist for disciplinary proceedings to be taken against a registered counsellor, the Disciplinary Committee shall inquire into the case.
(2) A registered counsellor against whom disciplinary proceedings are taken shall be given an opportunity to make representations against the disciplinary charge laid against him before a decision is arrived at by the Disciplinary Committee.
(3) The registered counsellor against whom disciplinary proceedings have been taken shall be notified by the Registrar by registered post of the decision of the Disciplinary Committee as soon as possible after the making of such decision.

Siasatan oleh Jawatankuasa Tatatertib
(1) Jika laporan yang dikemukakan oleh Jawatankuasa Penyiasatan menyatakan bahawa terdapat alasan yang mencukupi untuk mengambil prosiding tatatertib terhadap seseorang kaunselor berdaftar, Jawatankuasa Tatatertib hendaklah menjalankan siasatan tentang kes itu.
(2) Seseorang kaunselor berdaftar yang terhadapnya prosiding tatatertib diambil hendaklah diberi peluang untuk membuat representasi terhadap pertuduhan tatatertib yang dibuat terhadapnya sebelum keputusan dicapai oleh Jawatankuasa Tatatertib.
(3) Kaunselor berdaftar yang terhadapnya prosiding tatatertib telah diambil hendaklah diberitahu oleh Pendaftar melalui pos berdaftar tentang keputusan Jawatankuasa Tatatertib dengan seberapa segera yang mungkin selepas keputusan itu dibuat.
