s 44 Authorization of officers

(1) The Director General may in writing authorize any officer of the Board to exercise the powers of enforcement under this Act. (2) An officer authorized under subsection (1) when acting under this Act shall, on demand, declare his office, and produce to the person against whom he is acting or from whom he seeks any information such authority card as the Director General may direct to be carried by such officer.
