s 80 Amendment of summons or pleading
(1) Subject to this Part, the Court may, at any stage of the proceedings, allow the plaintiff to amend his summons, or any party to amend his pleading, on such terms as to costs or otherwise as may be just and in such manner, if any, as it may direct.
(2) Where an application to the Court for leave to make the amendment referred to in subsection (1) is made after any relevant period of limitation current at the date of issue of the summons has expired, the Court may, if it thinks just, grant such leave on such terms as it thinks fit.
(3) Subject to subsection (2), any party to any proceedings may amend his pleading at any time before service to the other party without order of the Court.

Pindaan kepada saman atau pliding
(1) Tertakluk pada Bahagian ini, Mahkamah boleh, pada manamana peringkat prosiding, membenarkan plaintif meminda samannya, atau mana-mana pihak meminda plidingnya, atas apa-apa terma tentang kos atau selainnya sebagaimana yang adil dan mengikut apaapa cara, jika ada, yang diarahkannya.
(2) Jika suatu permohonan kepada Mahkamah untuk mendapatkan kebenaran membuat pindaan yang disebut dalam subseksyen (1) dibuat selepas habis tempoh apa-apa tempoh had masa yang relevan yang berkuat kuasa pada tarikh pengeluaran saman itu, Mahkamah boleh,
jika difikirkannya adil, memberikan kebenaran itu atas apa-apa terma yang difikirkannya patut.
(3) Tertakluk pada subseksyen (2), mana-mana pihak dalam manamana prosiding boleh meminda plidingnya tanpa perintah Mahkamah pada bila-bila masa sebelum penyampaian kepada pihak yang satu lagi.
