Syariah Court Civil Procedure (Federal Territories) Act 1998 s 82
The Court may at any time, on its own motion or on the application of any party, and on such terms as it thinks just, order amendment to be made for the purpose ofβ (a) correcting any defect or error in any proceedings; or (b) determining the real question in controversy or to achieve justice between the parties.
Prosiding cacat
Mahkamah boleh pada bila-bila masa, atas kehendaknya sendiri atau atas permohonan mana-mana pihak, dan atas apa-apa terma yang difikirkannya adil, memerintahkan supaya dibuat apa-apa pindaan bagi maksudβ (a) membetulkan apa-apa kecacatan atau ralat dalam manamana prosiding; atau (b) menentukan soalan sebenar yang menjadi kontroversi atau bagi mencapai keadilan antara pihak-pihak.
