Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Act 1998 s 20

s 20 Chairman shall be chief executive

(1) Without prejudice to the other provisions of this Act, the Chairman shall also be the chief executive of the Commission. (2) The Commission shall vest in the chief executive such power and impose upon him such duties as may be determined by the Commission. (3) The chief executive shall be responsible for the overall administration and management of the functions and the day to day affairs of the Commission. (4) The chief executive shall have general control of the employees of the Commission. (5) The chief executive shall perform such further duties as the Minister and the Commission may, from time to time, direct. (6) In discharging his duties, the chief executive shall act under the general authority and directions of the Commission.
