(1) Where the Controller has reasonable grounds to believe that a person is contravening, has contravened or is about to contravene this Act, the Controller may make an order requiring the person to—
(a) cease the contravention;
(b) refrain from the contravention or contemplated contravention; or
(c) refrain from any further contravention,
of this Act.
(2) A copy of the order made under subsection (1) shall be served on every person named in it together with written reasons for the order, and such order shall take effect immediately on the service thereof.
(3) For the purposes of this section, service may be made personally or by A.R. registered post, telegram, facsimile transmission or by any other electronic or other means of transmission which results in the order being transmitted in writing to the person named in it.
(4) The power to issue an order under subsection (1) may be exercised by the Controller personally or by any officer authorized in writing by the Controller.

Kuasa untuk memerintahkan pematuhan
(1) Jika Pengawal mempunyai alasan yang munasabah untuk mempercayai bahawa seseorang sedang melanggar, telah melanggar atau hampir melanggar Akta ini, Pengawal boleh membuat perintah menghendaki orang itu—
(a) menghentikan pelanggaran;
(b) menahan diri supaya tidak melakukan pelanggaran atau pelanggaran yang difikir fikirkan hendak dilakukan itu; atau
(c) mengelakkan diri daripada apa-apa pelanggaran selanjutnya,
Akta ini.
(2) Sesalinan perintah yang dibuat di bawah subseksyen (1) hendaklah diserahkan kepada semua orang yang dinamakan dalamnya bersama-sama dengan sebab bertulis bagi perintah itu, dan perintah itu hendaklah berkuat kuasa sebaik sahaja diserahkan.
(3) Bagi maksud seksyen ini, penyerahan bolehlah dibuat sendiri, atau melalui pos berdaftar Akuan Terima, telegram, pengiriman faksimili atau apa-apa cara elektronik lain atau cara penghantaran lain
yang menyebabkan perintah itu dihantar secara bertulis kepada orang yang dinamakan dalamnya.
(4) Kuasa untuk mengeluarkan suatu perintah di bawah subseksyen (1) bolehlah dijalankan oleh Pengawal sendiri atau oleh mana-mana orang yang diberi kuasa secara bertulis oleh Pengawal.
