s 8 Interpretation

For the purposes of this Part— (a) “false”, “misleading” or “deceptive”, in relation to conduct, representation or practice, includes conduct, representation or practice which is capable of leading a consumer into error; and (b) “price”, in relation to any goods or services, in addition and without prejudice to the generality of the definition of “price” in section 3, means— (i) the aggregate of the sums required to be paid by a consumer for or otherwise in respect of the supply of the goods or services; or (ii) except in subsections 12(3) and (4), any method which will be or has been applied for the purpose of determining the aggregate.

Tafsiran

Bagi maksud Bahagian ini— (a) “palsu”, “mengelirukan” atau “memperdaya”, berhubung dengan perlakuan, representasi atau amalan, termasuklah perlakuan, representasi atau amalan yang boleh menyebabkan seseorang pengguna melakukan kesilapan; dan (b) “harga”, berhubung dengan apa-apa barang atau perkhidmatan, sebagai tambahan dan tanpa menjejaskan keluasan takrif “harga” dalam seksyen 3, ertinya— (i) agregat jumlah wang yang dikehendaki supaya dibayar oleh pengguna bagi atau selainnya berkenaan dengan pembekalan barang atau perkhidmatan itu; atau (ii) kecuali dalam subseksyen 12(3) dan (4), apa-apa cara yang akan atau telah terpakai bagi maksud menentukan agregat itu.
