s 43 Power to require attendance of person acquainted with case
(1) An Assistant Controller or a police officer not below the rank of Inspector making an investigation under this Act may by order in writing require the attendance before himself of any person who appears to the Assistant Controller or a police officer not below the rank of Inspector to be acquainted with the facts and circumstances of the case, and such person shall attend as so required.
(2) If any person refuses to attend as so required, the Assistant Controller or police officer not below the rank of Inspector may report such refusal to a Magistrate who shall issue a summons to secure the attendance of such person as may be required by the order made under subsection (1).

Kuasa untuk menghendaki kehadiran orang yang mempunyai pengetahuan tentang kes
(1) Penolong Pengawal atau pegawai polis yang pangkatnya tidak rendah daripada Inspektor yang menjalankan penyiasatan di bawah Akta ini boleh dengan perintah bertulis menghendaki kehadiran di hadapannya mana-mana orang yang pada pendapat Penolong Pengawal atau pegawai polis yang pangkatnya tidak rendah daripada Inspektor itu mempunyai pengetahuan tentang fakta dan hal keadaan kes itu, dan orang itu hendaklah hadir sebagaimana yang dikehendaki.
(2) Jika mana-mana orang enggan hadir sebagaimana yang dikehendaki, Penolong Pengawal atau pegawai polis yang pangkatnya tidak rendah daripada Inspektor itu boleh melaporkan keengganan itu kepada seorang Majistret yang hendaklah mengeluarkan suatu saman bagi memastikan kehadiran orang itu sebagaimana yang dikehendaki oleh perintah yang dibuat di bawah subseksyen (1).
