s 35 Return of public records
(1) The Director General shall, at the request in writing of the administrative head of a public office, return to that public office any public record transferred from that public office for such period as may be agreed upon between the Director General and the administrative head of that public office and upon such conditions as the Director General thinks fit. (2) Nothing in this section shall be deemed to require the Director General to return any public record the condition of which does not warrant its removal from the custody or control of the National Archives.
