s 86 Removal and resignation of auditors
(1) A Langkawi company may, at a meeting of members of which special notice has been given to the auditor and the Registrar, but not otherwise, remove an auditor from office, but shall at that meeting at which the auditor is removed or at a meeting of members held within one month thereafter appoint an approved auditor to take the place of the auditor so removed.
(2) An auditor of a Langkawi company may, if he is not a sole auditor, resign at any time but a sole auditor of a Langkawi company may only resign at a meeting of the members.
(3) If an auditor gives written notice to the directors of a Langkawi company that he desires to resign, the directors shall, as soon as is practicable, call a meeting of members of the company for the purpose of appointing an auditor in place of the auditor who desires to resign, and on the appointment of another auditor the resignation shall take effect.
(4) A Langkawi company shall, within thirty days of any change in the auditor of the company, lodge with the Registrar a notice thereof in the prescribed form and such notice shall be accompanied with the new auditorβs written consent.

Pemberhentian dan peletakan jawatan juruaudit
(1) Suatu syarikat Langkawi boleh, di suatu mesyuarat anggota yang notis khas mengenainya telah diberi kepada juruaudit dan Pendaftar, tetapi tidak sebaliknya, memberhentikan seorang juruaudit daripada jawatannya, tetapi hendaklah di mesyuarat yang mana juruaudit itu diberhentikan atau di suatu mesyuarat anggota yang diadakan dalam masa sebulan kemudiannya melantik seorang juruaudit yang diluluskan untuk mengambil tempat juruaudit yang diberhentikan itu.
(2) Seorang juruaudit bagi suatu syarikat Langkawi boleh, jika dia bukannya seorang juruaudit tunggal, meletakkan jawatannya pada bila-bila masa tetapi seorang juruaudit tunggal bagi suatu syarikat Langkawi boleh meletakkan jawatannya di suatu mesyuarat anggota sahaja.
(3) Jika seorang juruaudit memberikan notis bertulis kepada pengarah suatu syarikat Langkawi bahawa dia berhasrat untuk meletakkan jawatannya, pengarah hendaklah, dengan seberapa segera yang praktik, memanggil suatu mesyuarat anggota syarikat itu bagi maksud melantik seorang juruaudit bagi menggantikan juruaudityang berhasrat untuk meletakkan jawatannya, dan apabila juruaudit yang lain telah dilantik peletakan jawatannya itu akan berkuat kuasa.
(4) Suatu syarikat Langkawi hendaklah, dalam masa tiga puluh hari dari apa-apa pertukaran juruaudit syarikat itu, menyerahkan kepada Pendaftar suatu notis mengenainya dalam borang yang ditetapkan dan notis itu hendaklah disertakan dengan persetujuan bertulis juruaudit yang baru itu.
