s 129 Unlawful use or supply of non-standard equipment, device, material, system or facilities

(1) A person who uses or supplies any non-standard equipment, device, material, system or facility that he knows or has reason to believe is a non-standard equipment, device, material, system or facilitiy to be used for any purpose of installing, working or operating the equipment, device, material, system or facility commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both. (2) In any proceedings under this Act or its subsidiary legislation, any document purporting to be a certificate given by an authorized officer certifying that any particular equipment, device or material is a non-standard equipment, device or material shall be admissible as prima facie evidence of the facts stated in it until the contrary is proved.

Penggunaan atau pembekalan yang menyalahi undang-undang kelengkapan, peranti, bahan, sistem atau kemudahan yang tidak standard

(1) Seseorang yang menggunakan atau membekalkan apaapa kelengkapan, peranti, bahan, sistem atau kemudahan yang tidak standard yang diketahuinya atau yang dia mempunyai alasan untuk mempercayai adalah kelengkapan, peranti, bahan, sistem atau kemudahan yang tidak standard untuk digunakan bagi tujuan memasang, menjalankan atau mengendalikan kelengkapan, peranti, bahan, sistem atau kemudahan itu melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi lima puluh ribu ringgit atau dipenjarakan selama tempoh tidak melebihi enam bulan atau kedua-duanya. (2) Dalam mana-mana prosiding di bawah Akta ini atau perundangan subsidiarinya, apa-apa dokumen yang berupa suatu perakuan yang diberikan oleh pegawai diberi kuasa yang memperakukan bahawa mana-mana kelengkapan, peranti atau bahan tertentu adalah suatu kelengkapan, peranti atau bahan yang tidak standard hendaklah boleh diterima sebagai keterangan prima facie tentang fakta yang dinyatakan di dalamnya sehingga dibuktikan sebaliknya.
