Water Services Industry Act 2006 s 44
(1) The service licensee operating and maintaining a public sewerage system shall desludge the septic tanks in its sewerage services areas from time to time as may be prescribed. (2) The service licensee who fails to comply with its obligations under subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit.
Tangki septik hendaklah dinyahenap cemar
(1) Pemegang lesen perkhidmatan yang mengendalikan dan menyenggarakan suatu sistem pembetungan awam hendaklah menyahenap cemar tangki septik di dalam kawasan perkhidmatan pembetungannya dari semasa ke semasa sebagaimana yang ditetapkan. (2) Pemegang lesen perkhidmatan yang tidak mematuhi obligasinya di bawah subseksyen (1) melakukan suatu kesalahan dan boleh, apabila disabitkan, didenda tidak melebihi lima puluh ribu ringgit.
