s 70 Functions of the Water Forum
(1) The Water Forum shall have all the functions imposed on it under this Act and, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the Water Forum shall have the following functions:
(a) to give feedback and make recommendations to the Commission on any matters concerning the interest of consumers of the water supply services and sewerage services;
(b) to represent the interests of consumers of the water supply services and sewerage services;
(c) to promote consumer’s interest in relation to the tariffs and standards of water supply services and sewerage services;
(d) to identify and keep under review matters affecting the interests of consumers and ensure that the water supply services and sewerage services companies are aware of, and responsive to, concerns about their services;
(e) to publicise the existence, functions and work of the Water Forum in protecting the interests of consumers; and
(f) to carry out any functions as may be determined by the Commission.
(2) The Commission shall have due regard to the recommendations of the Water Forum in the exercise of its powers and the performance of its functions under this Act.

Fungsi Forum Air
(1) Forum Air hendaklah mempunyai semua fungsi yang diberikan kepadanya di bawah Akta ini dan, tanpa menjejaskan keluasan peruntukan sebelum ini, Forum Air hendaklah mempunyai fungsi yang berikut:
(a) untuk memberikan maklum balas dan membuat syor kepada Suruhanjaya mengenai apa-apa perkara yang berkenaan dengan kepentingan pengguna perkhidmatan bekalan air dan perkhidmatan pembetungan;
(b) untuk mewakili kepentingan pengguna perkhidmatan bekalan air dan perkhidmatan pembetungan;
(c) untuk memajukan kepentingan pengguna berhubung dengan tarif dan standard perkhidmatan bekalan air dan perkhidmatan pembetungan;
(d) untuk mengenal pasti dan mengkaji semula perkara-perkara yang menyentuh kepentingan pengguna dan memastikan bahawa syarikat-syarikat perkhidmatan bekalan air dan perkhidmatan pembetungan menyedari, dan responsif terhadap, kebimbangan mengenai perkhidmatan mereka;
(e) untuk membuat publisiti tentang kewujudan, fungsi dan kerja Forum Air dalam melindungi kepentingan pengguna;
(f) untuk menjalankan apa-apa fungsi yang ditentukan oleh Suruhanjaya.
(2) Suruhanjaya hendaklah mengambil kira dengan sewajarnya syor Forum Air dalam penjalanan kuasanya dan pelaksanaan fungsinya di bawah Akta ini.
