s 88 Recovery of money due

(1) Any sum of money in respect of— (a) water supplied or services rendered in connection with such supply; or (b) the provision of sewerage services, shall be payable, within thirty days from the date of presentation of the bill, to the service licensee and if such sum is not so paid, the sum shall be recoverable by the service licensee through civil action in court. (2) A written statement by an employee of a licensee duly certified by the licensee or any person authorized by the licensee specifying the amount due shall be prima facie evidence of the payment that has to be made by the consumer under subsection (1). (3) The exercise of powers conferred by this section shall be without prejudice to the powers of the licensee under section 89.

Mendapatkan wang yang kena dibayar

(1) Apa-apa jumlah wang yang berkenaan dengan— (a) air yang dibekalkan atau perkhidmatan yang diberikan berkaitan dengan pembekalan itu; atau (b) penyediaan perkhidmatan pembetungan, hendaklah kena dibayar, dalam masa tiga puluh hari dari tarikh penyerahan bil, kepada pemegang lesen perkhidmatan itu dan jika jumlah itu tidak dibayar sedemikian, jumlah itu boleh didapatkan oleh pemegang lesen perkhidmatan melalui tindakan sivil di mahkamah. (2) Suatu pernyataan bertulis oleh pekerja pemegang lesen yang diperakui dengan sewajarnya oleh pemegang lesen itu atau mana-mana orang yang diberi kuasa oleh pemegang lesen itu yang menyatakan amaun yang kena dibayar hendaklah menjadi keterangan prima facie mengenai bayaran yang kena dibuat oleh pengguna di bawah subseksyen (1). (3) Penjalanan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen ini hendaklah tanpa menjejaskan kuasa pemegang lesen itu di bawah seksyen 89.
