Malaysian Pepper Board Act 2006 s 42
Without prejudice to subsection 38(2) and section 39, any pepper, pepper product, conveyance, machinery, contrivance, equipment, book, record, document or other article that an authorized officer reasonably suspects has been used or will be used in the commission of any offence under this Act may be seized and detained by the authorized officer.

Tanpa menjejaskan subseksyen 38(2) dan seksyen 39, apa-apa lada, keluaran lada, kenderaan, jentera, peralatan, kelengkapan, buku, rekod, dokumen atau benda lain yang semunasabahnya disyaki oleh seorang pegawai diberi kuasa telah digunakan atau akan digunakan dalam pelakuan apa-apa kesalahan di bawah Akta ini boleh disita dan ditahan oleh pegawai diberi kuasa itu.
