Malaysian Pepper Board Act 2006 s 52
Notwithstanding section 50, the Director General or any officer authorized by the Director General may, where he thinks fit, at any time direct that any pepper or pepper product or the proceeds of sale thereof, or any conveyance, machinery, contrivance, equipment, book, record, document or other article seized under this Part be released to the person from whose possession, custody or control it was seized.

Walau apa pun seksyen 50, Ketua Pengarah atau mana-mana pegawai diberi kuasa oleh Ketua Pengarah boleh, jika difikirkannya patut, pada bila-bila masa mengarahkan supaya apa-apa lada atau keluaran lada atau hasil penjualannya, atau apa-apa kenderaan, jentera, peralatan, kelengkapan, buku, rekod, dokumen atau benda lain yang disita di bawah Bahagian ini dilepaskan kepada orang yang daripada milikan, jagaan atau kawalannya lada atau keluaran lada atau hasil penjualannya, atau apa-apa kenderaan, jentera, peralatan, kelengkapan, buku, rekod, dokumen atau benda lain itu disita.
