Youth Societies and Youth Development Act 2007 s 50
The functions of the main body of youth societies at the national level are— (a) to convey the voice of the youth to the government; (b) to cooperate with the government in implementing programmes and activities related to youth development from the aspect of education, research and human resource development; and (c) to perform such other functions under this Act.

Fungsi badan induk pertubuhan belia di peringkat kebangsaan ialah— (a) untuk menyalurkan suara belia kepada kerajaan; (b) untuk bekerjasama dengan kerajaan dalam menjalankan program dan aktiviti yang berkaitan dengan pembangunan belia daripada aspek pendidikan, penyelidikan dan pembangunan sumber manusia; dan (c) untuk melaksanakan apa-apa fungsi lain di bawah Akta ini.
