s 70 Chief Executive Officer
(1) The Minister shall appoint a Chief Executive Officer on such terms and conditions as the Minister may determine to carry out the functions of the Institute.
(2) The Chief Executive Officer shall be responsible for the overall administration and management of the functions and the day to day affairs of the Institute.
(3) The Chief Executive Officer shall have general control of the other officers of the Institute.
(4) The Chief Executive Officer shall perform such further duties as the Minister and the Board may direct from time to time.
(5) In discharging his duties, the Chief Executive Officer shall act under the general authority and directions of the Board.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif
(1) Menteri hendaklah melantik seorang Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif atas apa-apa terma dan syarat sebagaimana yang ditentukan oleh Menteri untuk menjalankan fungsi Institut.
(2) Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif hendaklah bertanggungjawab bagi pentadbiran dan pengurusan fungsi dan hal ehwal hari ke hari Institut pada keseluruhannya.
(3) Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif hendaklah mempunyai kawalan am ke atas pegawai Institut yang lain.
(4) Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif hendaklah melaksanakan apa-apa kewajipan tambahan yang diarahkan oleh Menteri dan Lembaga dari semasa ke semasa.
(5) Dalam menunaikan kewajipannya, Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif hendaklah bertindak di bawah kuasa dan arahan am Lembaga.
