Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 s 110

s 110 Interpretation

In this Subdivision, unless the context otherwise requires— “a holder of a Capital Markets Services Licence” means a holder of a Capital Markets Services Licence who carries on the business of dealing in securities; “client’s assets” include monies or other property received or retained by, or deposited with, a holder of a Capital Markets Services Licence in the course of its business for which the holder is liable to account to its client, and any monies or other property accruing therefrom.

Dalam Subpenggal ini, melainkan jika konteksnya menghendaki makna yang lain— “aset klien” termasuklah wang atau harta lain yang diterima atau dipegang simpan oleh, atau didepositkan dengan, pemegang Lesen Perkhidmatan Pasaran Modal dalam perjalanan urusannya yang baginya pemegang itu bertanggungan menjelaskan kepada kliennya, dan mana-mana wang atau harta lain yang terakru daripadanya; “pemegang Lesen Perkhidmatan Pasaran Modal” ertinya pemegang Lesen Perkhidmatan Pasaran Modal yang menjalankan urusan berniaga dalam sekuriti.
