s 58 Reference to a Judge of the High Court on a question of law
(1) Before the Tribunal makes an award under section 57, it may, in its discretion, refer to a Judge of the High Court a question of law—
(a) which arose in the course of the proceedings;
(b) which, in the opinion of the Tribunal, is of sufficient importance to merit such reference; and
(c) the determination of which by the Tribunal raises, in the opinion of the Tribunal, sufficient doubt to merit such reference.
(2) If the Tribunal refers any question of law under subsection (1) for the decision of a Judge of the High Court, it shall make its award in conformity with such decision.
(3) A Federal Counsel authorized by the Attorney General for that purpose may appear on behalf of the Tribunal in any proceedings before a Judge of the High Court under this section.

Rujukan kepada Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi atas persoalan undang- undang
(1) Sebelum Tribunal membuat sesuatu award di bawah seksyen 57, Tribunal boleh, mengikut budi bicaranya, merujukkan kepada seorang Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi sesuatu persoalan undang-undang—
(a) yang berbangkit semasa prosiding;
(b) yang, pada pendapat Tribunal, adalah cukup penting untuk mewajarkan rujukan itu; dan
(c) yang penentuannya oleh Tribunal menimbulkan, pada pendapat Tribunal, keraguan yang mencukupi untuk mewajarkan rujukan itu.
(2) Jika Tribunal merujukkan apa-apa persoalan undang-undang di bawah subseksyen (1) bagi keputusan Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi, Tribunal hendaklah membuat awardnya dengan menepati keputusan itu.
(3) Peguam Persekutuan yang diberi kuasa oleh Peguam Negara bagi maksud itu boleh hadir bagi pihak Tribunal dalam apa-apa prosiding di hadapan Hakim Mahkamah Tinggi di bawah seksyen ini.
